"Panic and Anxiety can be debilitating to your life. It will keep you from doing social events and limit everything you do. I have read an ebook that was very helpful in eliminating and controlling the panic and anxiety. I was afraid to go out and now can enjoy an evening with friends in a relaxed state. The Panic and anxiety book tells you what causes this and the best way to learn to avoid the anxiety attack before it starts." - Bindi Watts
I am thinking of seeing a doctor about having therapy to cure my anxiety?
I am naturally anxious and worry alot.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what therapy might involve?
P.S I live in the UK
It’s great that you are seeing a doctor, I’m not sure what the therapist involves, but I’m sure it will be great.
Here are some idea’s that have really helped me with my anxiety:
1. Try Byron Katie – she is fantastic – I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is on youtube or on her website.
2. If you get panic attacks, sign up for the free emails on the panicaway website.
3. Eat less sugar and eat more fish – blood sugar imbalances can cause havoc with your body and symptoms include depression, mood swings, tiredness, drowsiness after eating, cravings for sweet foods, headaches, heart palpitations, anxiety, irritability, agrressive outbursts, crying spells, excessive sweating, dizziness and trembling.
4. Keep two journals. One for writing down all your feelings, this is really good for clearing out your anxieties and getting all your
war onto paper, you can delete it straight after if you need to, it’s just good to really see your stressful thinking. And the other can be your gratitude journal – write down all the things you are grateful for that happened today.
5. Read "Happiness is a Choice" by Barry Neils Kauffman.
Wishing you the very best and good luck!!!
