panice and anxiety gone

"Panic and Anxiety can be debilitating to your life.  It will keep you from doing social events and limit everything you do.  I have read an ebook that was very helpful in eliminating and controlling the panic and anxiety.  I was afraid to go out and now can enjoy an evening with friends in a relaxed state.  The Panic and anxiety book tells you what causes this and the best way to learn to avoid the anxiety attack before it starts."  - Bindi Watts

A Natural Way Deal With Anxiety And Panic Attacks

By admin · Friday, January 22nd, 2010

It is quite natural for everyone to feel anxious at some time in their life. Whether it is before a big meeting, before the wedding, or even if it is before going out of the front door, anxiety and panic attacks are a part of life. Anxiety from sudden exposure to something you don’t like such as a snake or spider is natural and most people deal with it very quickly and calm down.

However, an estimated 15% of the population suffers from the terrible effects of constant anxiety. In fact, they suffer so bad that they may find they can’t even leave the house! As you can imagine, this level of anxiety is not good.

When an anxiety or panic attack starts typically you will feel some of these common symptoms:

* Faster heart rate
* Shaking
* Uncontrollable sweating
* Dizziness
* Shortness of breath

A panic attack can last anything from a few seconds to a few minutes or even longer. After a panic attack you may experience even more negative emotions such as depression, frustration or even anger at yourself.

There is a multitude of ways to dealing with your anxiety and panic attacks. You could take medication for it, but they tend to have a whole host of unpleasant side effects. Therapy is another option, but for some it is too expensive. Hypnosis though works really well and can resolve you anxiety in just a few sessions, and I can highly recommend it.

In order to overcome your anxiety you can teach yourself deep breathing techniques. Concentrate now on breathing from your stomach rather than your chest. This means that when you breathe in your stomach expands, and when you breathe out your stomach contracts and you pull it in. Deep breathing from the stomach is incredibly relaxing, and you will find it very hard to get anxious whilst breathing in this way.

When you start to get anxious you will notice that your breathing becomes shallower (i.e. from your chest) and quicker. If you try breathing shallowly from your chest now, notice how you feel. How do you feel?

Yeah, you feel anxious and nervous. So if you can start to consciously breathe from your stomach as soon as you feel an anxiety or panic attack coming on, then you will calm yourself down and feel better.

This is a wonderful natural way to deal with anxiety so you can overcome it. I personally have an extreme phobia of spiders, yet through this deep breathing and remaining relaxed I can catch a spider in a glass and take it out of the house. It really works, and it works well.

Take back control of your life and banish your anxiety and panic attacks through learning to control your breathing.

You obviously aren’t seeing the right doctor. All medications in this category have side effects. Don’t give up. I have suffered with ADHD, depression, and anxiety all my life. I was not able to stay on my medications when I lost my insurance, which was a two year span. It was extremely rough. I have tried everything herbal known to man. Nothing works. You need to see a better doctor and try a different medication. I take Cymbalta for depression, Concerta for ADHD, and Clonozapam for anxiety. I am not trying to sell you on taking these kinds of medication but I have tried it both ways and my quality of life without these medications suck! I would rather be dead then be without them. This combination has worked wonders for me but that is not for everyone. Good luck.

Experience with these problems.

A reputable herbalist should be able to help, acupuncture can be beneficial as well, however I came across a therapy that worked extremely well for my son who was diagnosed with trichotillomania (hair pulling) and anxiety (as a result of an accident he had 6 months prior to the condition developing) when he was 12.
I will give you a link below, this therapy is non invasive and holistic in nature (no med reqd) however you will have to face problems rooted in your past (sometimes they are really minor but the effect on the psyche can be immense) it is free and believe me it does work, after 2 months my son’s hair grew back and he has not pulled one strand since ! and his anxiety has strongly diminished.
Please believe me I am not a kook or a tree hugging hippy I am very much a realist and confront problems head on.
Look try it, it won’t hurt and there is also a forum on the site where you can consult trained therapists who will point you in the right direction.
Anyway, the link – sorry for rambling, and I hope it helps you as much as it did my son.

Anxiety and panic attacks are the same. In case others are seeking help. Making sure someone don’t get both confused. We all know they start from a chemical imbalance. We know they all started from a truama may it been rape, abuse, drugs, alcohol, peer pressure, grief of a loved one, divorce, job, health and finances. How to treat them is a good question? What work for some may not work for others. I have chronic anxiety, OCD, PTSD and phobias for nearly 33 years. Yes, I am 46 and not embarrass to express I have a mental illness. I express it to help others. I don’t take meds. I use my own techniques. If it works than it works if it don’t work than I try another solution. Here are the natural ingredients you’ll need B6, laughter, prayers and self-talk. You need to replace the loss chemicals in your brain. You need to give it to God. He has your plans about the future of your mental disorder. Sorry you have a mental disorder and its hard to say it to others cuz it sounds like an insult. Watch plenty of funny movies, watch Comedy Central or read a joke book cuz the seroton (whatever the name of it) releases the needed chemicals to replace the loss ones. Self-talk would be convincing yourself or a distraction to your mind. Anxiety is a mind game. If you let it win it will win. You do whatever strategies you can think of by either counting, journals, hobbies, reading, take a walk or join support groups or clubs. Basically, keep busy. The more you dwell on it the more it will not go away. I know easier said than done. I preach to others but never apply it to myself. Don’t figure that one out. As for the OCDs thats a big battle to conquer. I have some of the weirdiest OCD to mention. I will mention one so in case someone else is seeking help with OCD treatment. I was told by my Therapist that OCD is another mind game that can be treated without meds. We allow the OCD fears to kick in. We know it’s logical to turn the stove off when we get down cooking, right? We know it’s logical to turn down the hot water if the water is too hot, right? Why can’t we turn down or turn off our OCDs, right? One of my OCDs and I am not ashamed to express it but I cannot touch paint only if it’s at someone else’s home or at the store. I feel the paint is on my fingers and if I use my fingers to eat I feel I will eat the paint and die. Yes, I have a phobia of dying. I could say its due to the fact my abusive EX use to work with paint. I could say it was caused by my abusive mom who placed me in the garage when I was about 9 with several cans of paint and two cars. I never had any major problems with paint. I use to handle it like it was nothing until my EX started abusing me so badly in 2002. I been with him for nearly 15 years and during those times I use to touch every odd thing he touched considering he’s a mechanic and a construction worker. As I stated about the paint I know logically it cannot come off the drawers and be on my fingers cuz if thats true than every one in this world would be dead, right? Ok, sounds funny to others but seriously you may have a young child of 11 or 33 with the same OCD as mine and if we laugh at them they will never get better, right? So, with my OCD about paint kicks in I have to wash my hands to make sure the paint is off and there’s no paint on my fingers. I wash my hands like many others who washes their hands numerous times as a way to feel safe. If I was wash off the cooties I won’t get hurt. Thats how I describe one of many OCDs. As for natural remedies go to your local health stores or go online and search some remedies.

which would be helpful also. The tools and techniques in these books could be used with or without medication.
This may not be the exact answer you were looking for; but
I hope it helps-some.
